As home prices tumble down all over the country, many renters are looking longingly at the real estate listings and wishing that they’d paid more attention to their credit rating. After several years of real estate BOOM, the bubble seems to have burst – or at least started to deflate. In May, the median single family home price in Boston was an astounding 12% lower than just one year earlier, and that trend was reflected around the country. While that’s bad news for anyone who bought their home a year ago with the expectation of turning a profit, the falling price of real estate is very good news for those who have been waiting for prices to come down.

Are co-signers allowed? Can you buy HUD home, or foreclosures? Where can i find a reliable lender in Michigan? How far in advance should we try for pre-approval? Does a pre-Approval expire?
Well the housed we are looking at are between $25k-$50k…what kind of loans can you suggest for people with bad credit. Should we use our vehicles as collateral?

My boy friend and I were quoted for a mortgage awhile ago that we would be able to do about 150 to 180K ,not too bad. But when I did a mortgage calculator online it only came out with the 35K total. We make more than some people we know and they own own homes. What did I do wrong? I just can’t believe that we would not be able to be qualified for a mortgage amount that is at least reasonable and would get us something nice and not a condo or townhome. Even though that is what everyone is telling us to buy. Please some one restore my faith or will we never be able to have a home of our own.

seems like everything went bad with rates started to go up. so is who or what to blame the person or company who came up with “adjustable rate loans”?

why not just give people with bad credit fixed rates, because they seem to be able to pay a fixed amount just fine, or have rent to own agreements?

Many people today are faced with unemployment or under employment and find themselves thinking about refinancing their current mortgage.
